Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born 9 July 1956 in Concord, California. He's mother Janet Marylyn was a hospital worker and his father was a cook but also teached german and english sometimes. Hanks was an unpopular kid in school. He called himself "a geek and spaz". Tom Hanks won two Oscars as the best actor two years in a row. Tom Hanks has made over 20 movies but according to him only five of them are good. In 2005 he was suggested as the worst actor for his role in the Bi-polar express. Hanks was married to actress Samantha Lewes. They got 1 kid and 1 daughter and divorced 10 years later. He later married the actress Rita Wilson and they got 2 kids. Hanks has type 2 diabetes.
